Team Building Reflection

Today I learnt about team building,so in second block we did a team building game where go in a circle then we cross our hands and link them with our teammates and then try to untangle them without letting go of one another.After each group had a go at this it was then boys vs girls,the girls group were struggling a bit on making it not too easy and not too hard in the end Mavis stepped up and figured out a way for the girls to do it.It was really good doing team building today so we learn how to cooperate with each other.

Shake out Day

Today was New Zealand's National Shake Out Day. At 9:26am there was an earthquake drill.

I was at my desk,so I dropped,covered and held to stay safe .One thing we did well at T.P.S was reacted well to the bell.One thing I want to work on next time is get under my desk properly.Our meeting place is the field they we move to the hall(if it isn't destroyed).

Remember in the event of an earthquake DROP,COVER,HOLD!

Photosynthesis,Leaf Function

I have been learning about Photosynthesis this term.My group has put two plants underneath a lamp one with a tapped plastic bag on it and one with just and plastic bag on it but still open,and we are going to see what will happens.

TWO DAYS LATER....
This is my first observation when I came back to my groups plant.

Day One Observation 13.08.12
Turns out that the plant not close up with tape died first and looks shrivelled and a little brown and the leaf taped up looks a little dry up.But if we left the taped up bag for two weeks I think that  it will turn crinkled and really dry and the other leaf will probably infect the rest of the plant if not clipped off.

It's wilting slowly and infecting it's other leaves.            

Just getting more dry while other leaves mange.

It seems that the plant not sealed up is doing worse and is actually spreading its infection quite fast,unlike the other plant that is sealed up it just looks dry and the other leaves still look quite healthy.If the plant that’s not sealed keepon wilting is will die off maybe in two to three days time unlike the other plant it will probably last until next week.

I was just walking to the science lab when my friend Harry stumbled across from me we said our normal hellos and see ya laters and continued on on what we were doing.When I got to the science lab I found my seat and so did my lab partner Reece,class started and so did Reece talking about atoms and neutrons.So when we finished class I hears a voice behind me “Rose” it was Reece he said “If you’ll want to come study with me”,I said “No thank you I’m going to study with my friend Harry”.

When I got home my mum was cooking and I was studying but all by myself,where was Harry?The next I asked him where he was but he just said “At home studying” but he was supposed to come study with me,after a while I got over it but then when I went to locker and a letter dropped out saying “How are you” I thought it was Harry but he just said “It wasn’t me”.Now thinking maybe it went in the wrong locker,but it wasn’t because the letter kept on coming again and again.

Soon I came to a conclusion that I have a secret admirer,then one day a letter said “Come see me at the old abandoned house in Dale Avenue at night”.After,I got Harry to come with me just incase anything happens,when we got there the door was already open that means the person was already there.We waited in the dark for a while until we heard footsteps upstairs suddenly we hear a door open from not far from us when all of a sudden a bag is over my head and I get hit over the head and completely knocked out.When I finally wake up Harry is standing in front of me chained to the wall and I’m tied to a chair,then when the door opens the person we see is...Reece.

Shocked and once again confused he comes up to me and say “I always liked you but you didn’t like me,I even thought not letting Harry go to study with you will make you come to me but it didn’t,so I’m going to hurt you like the way you hurt me but more painful I’m going to go now and get my instruments of torture and I’ll be right back”he leaves the room saying not another word.


Quickly and easily pressured now I find a sharp rusted pipe to cut my hands free and feet and go to find something to cut Harry free instead I find a hammer and start smashing the chain until it breaks off when their off we now hear running coming our way.We quickly take the opposite door and run for it,when we’re outside I make a emergency call and tell the people on the phone where we are and tell them to bring the police.When they come we see Reece, handcuffed and put inside the police officer’s car.

Now relieved that we’re alright I get a ride from the cops to go home and drop off Harry.The next day when we’re at school we go through our normal routine and go to class,when the day is over I go to my locker to put my books away and see a letter saying
“I’ll be back”-R

STUNT LEGEND

I see and hear crowds of roaring people screaming for deadly entertainment, for me to jump over  the Gran Canyon one of the largest canyons in the world.Everyone stops screaming and wait for me to make the jump, I put my hand over the exhilarate and let go of the break. I feel my body getting pulled forward from the  speed,I’m going faster every second the ramp is right there, I go flying in the air I do a quick trick in the air. Then with shock I feel the ground under me, I made the jump, then things go out of hand I loose control of my bike. Next thing I know I’m on the ground, everything around me go blurry then all I see is pitch black.

I wake up in an unfamiliar room, I look around and see cards and flower.I see a cast around my leg I must be in hospital. But how long was I in hospital for, I wait for somebody to come in for half an hour finally the doctor come in and tell me what happened, turned out I was in a coma for one week.He leaves me in the room for a while to get some rest, but I don’t sleep I just sit there bored. The door opens again and I see my family they said they were happy to see that I’m still alive and said they can’t wait for me to come home. The next month I recovered from my injury and able to go home on my two feet.When I finally got home my house was surrounded with a swarm of people rushing everywhere as soon as they seen me asking me questions like “How did you feel?” or “Will you try this stunt again?”. I reach my front door after all the questioning,when I opened the door expecting a huge welcome instead they are just watching the news.Then they all stare at me for ten seconds and start hugging me saying on the news they were calling me a STUNT LEGEND!!!
